The Young Designers Bridal Awards 2018 – II Edition
Just a little over ten days from the end, our Style Office is in a ferment for the choice of the winner of the second edition of the contest “The young designers bridal awards”, which took place from 7 to 9 March in Caserta, in the head office of the Maison.
Only in Milan, on the occasion of the Sì Sposa Italia trade show, however we will discover the name of the winner among those who have proved, put to the test, to be true talents of the wedding world. Born from the spirit of the Signore Academy that has always aimed at enhancing and promoting necessary and multifaceted figures, kindred to the fashion world, making both training and real work experience available to them, this year it will offer a young designer the opportunity to demonstrate his creativity within the Maison itself, by participating in the creation of future collections.

zoom_inFifteen applicants in total, coming from three of the most important national academies: Fashion Academy of Naples, the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and the IED in Rome, selected among the best students of their postgraduate courses, who have faced the challenges offered in progress by the director of our Style Office, Vittoria Foraboschi: representing the bride of the future according to three themes – a character, the iconic Brigitte Bardot, ex-model, actress, singer, dancer and animal rights activist, defiant and nonconformist; a concept, Luxury that, to quote the divine Gabrielle “is a necessity that begins when necessity ends”; an ideal, the Nymph, fairy, mermaid, muse, emblem of beauty and gracefulness but also and above all seduction. Three themes that together give the image of every feminine peculiarity: strength, weaknesses, immense power of attraction and above all, beauty and greatness.
Pretty curious? We will have to wait a little longer. But in the meantime, however, we cankeep dreaming with the creations of the 2018 collections here.
